7 Emotions Packers Fans Felt During The Game Last Week

Every Packers fan, Broncos fan, and football fan in general was tuned in this Sunday to see which team would walk away 7-0 and who would go home with their first loss. These are the seven emotions that every Packers fan felt throughout this game.

1. Excitement

Coming off yet another win, still undefeated for the season, there was no way we would let the Broncos beat us. This season has gone so great after beating the Bears by eight points in the season opener to then just winning 27-20 against the Chargers. We were ready to put up a fight against the Broncos.

2. Arrogance

Aaron Rodgers might as well be the king of Wisconsin. Clay Matthews is the football player version of Thor. Our defense is one to be messed with. Our offense? Watch out, Broncos. We are coming for you on Sunday. Every Wisconsinite and Packer fan near and far bragged about how we would walk out of Denver 7-0.

3. Confidence

We were ready. Jerseys on, TVs loud, and waiting for kickoff. It was here: the game that would continue our streak. There was no way we could lose.

4. Uneasy

No points in the first quarter and down by seven. It's only seven points. No big deal; we can get that in our sleep. Second quarter wraps up; halftime. We got those seven points, but the Broncos got ten more. Everyone says there is still a whole half left and that we can catch up, but that little thought pops up in the back of your head. Shove it back—there is still another half to go.

5. Nervous

Another quarter here and gone. Now losing 10-24. Only one quarter left. We can do it! Right?

6. Depression

Broncos score even more, but the same cannot be said for the Packers. It's over. Our undefeated streak. Aaron Rodgers isn't immortal? Clay Matthews isn't a brick wall and sacking machine? The Packers are no longer invincible? What is the purpose of life, then?

7. Proud

In the end, we are proud. Proud of our boys that did their best and will learn from their mistakes. Proud that we can say we were close and that we are still Super Bowl contenders. Proud that we are Packer fans. GO PACK GO!

New England Summers Are The BEST Summers

Why you should spend your next summer in New England.

Three years ago, I chose to attend college in Philadelphia, approximately 360 miles away from my small town in New Hampshire. I have learned many valuable lessons away from home, and have thoroughly enjoyed my time spent in Pennsylvania. One thing that my experience has taught me, however, is that it is absolutely impossible to beat a New England summer.

Yes, the math major is doing a math-related post. What are the odds? I'll have to calculate it later. Many people have probably learned about the Fibonacci sequence in their high school math classes. However, I thought I would just refresh everyone's memories and show how math can be beautiful and apply to physical things everywhere around us with stunning examples.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
