Derek and Meredith will always be our favorite "Grey's Anatomy" couple. Since season one, we fell in love with the attending and his relationship with the intern. We were all heart-broken when Derek was taken from us in season 11, but we made it through our first season without Derek. Even though we survived, we still can't help but reminisce on our favorite Meredith and Derek moments.

"I'm just a girl in a bar...."

Their first meeting. The one that started it all.

The morning after

The first scene of the first episode ever. The awkward morning after when they don't remember each other's names and they are both late for work.

Pick me, choose me, love me!

One of the most well known quotes in "Grey's Anatomy" history. Addison Shepherd has shown up to win Derek back but then she hands Derek divorce papers. This was Meredith's plea for him to choose her over Addison

Candle House

"We can be ordinary together, rather than extarodinary apart." How much more romantic can you get? She built their dream house out of candles!

The proposal

He proposed in an elevator with all of the X-rays of cases that she helped on and that helped Derek fall in love with her!

Post-it wedding

"To take care of each other even when we're old, senile and smelly."

Zola's Adoption

Zola is the cutest thing ever. It may had made Derek and Meredith grow apart for a while, but because of the post-it, no one ran.

This is only a few of the milestones in the Mer-Der relationship. We miss Derek, but we can't wait to see what happens to Meredith next!
