Planning on studying abroad in Europe? If so, you're probably already counting on taking full advantage of the incredible opportunity by visiting as many countries as you possibly can. Not only will your professors encourage it, but all of your classmates will definitely be on board. Now, traveling within Europe is rather cheap. However, the costs can rack up quicker than many people may expect. I've found some noteworthy, cheap travel hacks to help you get from point A to point B while spending as little as possible. Take out a sheet of paper and your favorite pen because these tips are worth remembering!

1. Always search on a private browser.

You have to go "undercover". Pull out your super secret spy alter ego and search for flights on a private browser. By doing this, the browser will forget what you've searched and therefore avoid the prices from increasing every time you conduct the same search.

2. Skyscanner.net - A go to.

With skyscanner.net you can find the cheapest flights to all your destinations. When on this site, there are some more money saving tips to play around with.

3. Always shop "one-way" tickets.

Sometimes when you search for "roundtrip" tickets, they up the price. Instead, look for a "one-way" ticket there, and a "one-way" ticket back.

4. Do not put a final destination.

In some cases, if you put a final destination, the search system will "up" the price since it knows where exactly you're trying to go. Instead, leave your destination as "everywhere" and scroll through the options until you find a destination and a price you are ok with. Sometimes the $15 flight is a cool destination you didn't even consider before!

5. Make flight purchases on a Tuesday.

Tuesday's are the best days! Make your flight purchases on Tuesdays since it's usually the cheapest!

6. Check the train!

The train system in Europe is both convenient and affordable! Although the travel time may take longer than the flight time, it often times comes out way cheaper. Plus, if you take the overnight train, you can sleep the whole way there.

7. Don't forget the bus!

Not gunna lie, sometimes you can find a bus even cheaper than a train or a flight! Who doesn't like saving money??

These seven tips are just a couple of money saving hacks to remember when it comes time to booking trips. Don't forget that when staying at these different locations, depending on how many of you are traveling together, it may even be worth splitting an Airbnb than individually paying for a hostel.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
