If you don’t know already, MadeYewLook by Lex is a YouTube channel run by Lex, who is an extremely skilled and talented body/face painter. Her channel consists of her body/face painting tutorials, some makeup tutorials, some SFX tutorials, and has a whopping total of 199,201,849 collective views; yeah, she’s really really cool. As any long time subscriber would do, I’ve been bingeing tons and tons of her videos recently (just to watch them again, because, why not?) and I wanted to point out a few in particular that I find totally and absolutely stunning. I say, I because they’re all amazing, but these 7 tutorials down below are one’s I will never stop watching.
Check ‘em out:
1. Full Face of OVER 800 Sequins
800 sequins, 800 silver sequins all glued down individually. The amount of patience is so impressive and the finished look is stunning. I'm pretty sure if I attempted this I'd end up with sequins in my mouth.
2. A Demon’s Little Sister
Pink is often attached to cute, cuddly things, but I love seeing the color on such a creepy-cool character. It’s not easy to forget. Madeyewlook has the most amazing original characters, I'm constantly stunned by the amount of creativity she has.
3. Princess Peach
Isn’t this awesome? She has everything perfect, even the details on the crown. Princess Peach would be so flattered. Make sure to check out more of her fan videos, she brings so many famous characters to life.
4. Trippy Six Eye Skull
Have you noticed that all the eyes are following you when you turn the computer screen left to right? Cause I did. . .
5. Old School Tattoo (She IS the tattoo!)
I’ll be honest, the first time I watched this video I didn’t realize she was making herself the entire tattoo until the end, even though you can see it finished in the beginning. Of course, once I realized, my jaw dropped to the floor.
6. A Full Face of Googley Eyes
This tutorial makes me want to glue just as many googly eyes to my body from the sound alone. Imagine walking around like that at night? The easiest way to scare your loved ones for sure.
7. Harley Quinn
This is the greatest ode to the infamous Harley Quinn. The details on the mask and her original colors? It’s so satisfying. No wonder it has over 2 million views. You should check out Lex's Harley Skellington, if there were crossover levels, it would definitely land above the expert level.
Seem's we've reached the end of our (my) list, want more MadeYewLook videos? Again, check out her channel, because it's totally awesome and so is she.
