Great Things Happen When You Don't Sleep In
Berenice Hernandez

So a the night before this video, I came up with an abrupt idea to go to the park in the morning with the intentions of seeing the sunrise. Here the sun rises around 7:30am, so this meant that we had to wake up early and get ready in time to go see the sunrise. If you know me at all, you'll know that I'll jump at any opportunity to sleep-in, so waking up this early was going to take some effort! To our surprise it was verryyy foggy! Like the kind of fog that makes you feel like zombies are going to come out of nowhere and eat you kind of fog. So much for a beautiful sunrise, right? If you stick around long enough and get to the end of the video, you'll hear me talk about my thoughts on things not going according to plan. I mention how no matter how hard you plan something or really want something to go a certain way, it may not always end up that way. Whether you believe in pure fate or even a higher religious belief, it can be agreed on that maybe it didn't happen because it wasn't supposed to, maybe it was never in the plan anyway, no matter how hard you planned for it. Even if it didn't happen or if it just didn't go as expected, that doesn't mean it's a bad thing or that there can't be a good result from it. Enjoy the little things...it's just as beautiful.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
