Being the youngest of your friend group is a blessing and a curse. More often than not, though, its a curse. Here are a few struggles that every young friend can probably relate to.
1. You're the last person to get your license
I was one of the last ones in my friend group to get my license. Everyone else got to ride around in style without their moms, but I was still hitchin' rides from my mom until May.
2. You're always being called the "baby"
I am called the baby of my friend group all too often. Yes, I get it, my birthday is late. Thanks for the reminder.
3. "You're so young!"
Really? Thank you for telling me, I couldn't remember!
4. You're the last to turn 21
Do I need to say a whole lot for this one? All my friends getting crunk in the club while I'm sitting on my couch watching Netflix.
5. Your friends never let you forget the fact that you're the youngest
Need to settle a disagreement on who gets the last ___? We're always hit with the "I was born first."
6. You'll be younger when everyone else is old
When you'll be 60, we'll still be 59.
