Everyone knows that they have different types of friends that they do different types of stuff with. I mean, the friend that I eat pizza and french fries with until my stomach is about to explode is not necessarily the same friend that I would go to if something serious were to happen in my life. When transitioning from high school to college, there are six different types of friends that you are destined to make.
1. Your Roommate
Your roommate is the very first friend that you will have coming into college. This is the friend that will be by your side in the dining hall and at all of the freshman orientation activities until you get the courage to branch out a little. Hopefully this person is not a complete weirdo, because you will be spending a lot of time together.
2. Foodie Friend
Your Foodie Friend is the friend that always has your back when it's time for a meal. You will often be texting this friend, "Hey want to get dinner?" and this friend will often text back, "Of course! Be down in a minute."
3. Partner In Crime
Your Partner In Crime is that friend who is always down to go out and have a great time. Did you decide that you were going to stay in tonight, but now it's 11:30 p.m. and you realize that you made a terrible decision? Hit this friend up, and get ready because you are going out!
4. Struggle Bus Friend
Your Struggle Bus Friend is the friend you make when you and that person next to you are both struggling hard in calculus class. This is the friend that you sit with in the library for hours complaining about how you just do not understand the homework, and how the professor never actually taught this material.
5. Your Genius Friend
Your Genius Friend is the friend that will help you with homework because they know what they are doing and you do not. This friend is good. Keep this friend very, very close.
6. Your Best Friend
Your Best Friend is the friend you meet in college that you never have to worry about not being friends with in the future. Your Best Friend is really just a combination of all of your other friends, but in one amazing, awesome person.
College is filled with all kinds of people that you can and will befriend. Although everyone is different, odds are your friend will fall into one of these six categories. So go out and makes some awesome friends! Make some friends that will let you copy their homework occasionally, some friends that are always down to walk to get a Slurpee with you and some friends that you could not picture college without.
