6 Tips To Get Bikini Body Ready

Well, June is quickly approaching which means it's almost bikini season! Lately all I have been seeing on social media is girls complaining about their weight, complaining to a social media platform won't help you get your "bikini body" that you want. Take a little less time complaining, and take more time actually doing something about it. It may seem hard at first but, once you find a routine and stick with it, you'll get to your goal.

You don't even need a gym membership!! With all that money you're saving from not going to the gym, you can afford clean, and healthy produce! Here's some helpful tips on preparing for summer which have been working for me!

1. Eat clean.

My "go to" dinner usually consists of roasted veggies! I cut them up, pour some olive oil in a bowl, and go crazy with different seasonings! My favorite ones to use are garlic powder, red pepper flakes, oregano, and black pepper. I throw them in for 25 minutes and I cook a piece of chicken breast with those same seasonings on the stove! It's quick and easy and most importantly delicious! For breakfast, I usually have avocado toast OR an egg with sautéed peppers and onions. Lunch, I stick with a fruit smoothie with spinach in it!

2. Meal prep.

MEAL PREP! MEAL PREP! MEAL PREP! I can not stress this enough, plan out your meals for the week, especially if you work a lot like I do, it'll save you a ton of time so you can grab a meal on the go without breaking your healthy eating! It also helps you stick to portion sizes instead of eating with your eyes.

3. Portion. Don't eat with your eyes.

No more going up for seconds, we tend to eat with our eyes. We see food, and we eat it. Eating bigger portions is not good for your body, you may still be hungry afterwards but, you're body will get used to the smaller, correct portions and adjust.

4. Drink a TON of water.

Your body needs water, get rid of the soda! Fill up on water, I drink at least 4 water bottles a day.

5. Get Pinterest.

Pinterest is heaven. It'll save your butt with great clean recipes to make, great smoothies to make, and healthier options for a snack if you ever have a craving for something!

6. Fitness blender.

Say hello to your new personal trainers. Fitness blender is a youtube channel with TONS of amazing workouts you can do from the comfort of your own home! Who needs a gym when you have fitness blender? I'm currently doing one of their 37 minute cardio workouts. If you don't have time for a long workout, which you should make time for anyways, they have shorter workouts for you too! Fitness blender is amazing and you'll work up a sweat in no time. Keep pushing yourself! Even when you're sore from the previous day, keep going! Your body will get used to the new workout routine and the soreness!

Enjoy your summer everyone! After following all these tips, you'll notice a huge change in your body, trust me.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
