6 Things To Do In NYC During The Holidays

For those of you who will be fortunate enough to celebrate Christmas in New York City this year, make sure that you don't miss out on the shopping, decorations, and all the holiday spirit that NYC has to offer! Here's a list of things that you MUST do once you get to the city:

1. The Rockettes 


A trip to Radio City Music Hall is a must if you enjoy arts and music. The famous Christmas show attracts audiences of all age groups, so this would be a great start to your vaycay that'll get you and your entire family into the holiday spirit.

2. Shopping on 5th Avenue 


There are world famous displays all down 5th Avenue during this time of year. Each display tells its own story and can be interpreted in any way you wish. This would be the perfect backdrop to some amazing pictures!

3. The Tree in Rockefeller Center

I would suggest hitting up this world famous tree as soon as you enter the Big Apple. It’s an unforgettable experience to walk around it, marvel, and take photos!

4. Ice-skating 

NYC gives you have a couple of options on skating locations; whether you choose Rockefeller Center, Bryant Park, or Central Park, you're bound to have a great time! When you’re done, run into one of the many bakeries or delicatessens that New York has to offer and warm up!

5. Holiday-Themed Markets in Bryant Park

Every year during the holiday season, Bryant Park sets up a market to add onto the NYC spirit. The vendors have artisan Christmas decorations and other handcrafted souvenirs! This is the perfect place to get your friends and family some last minute gifts before Christmas.

6. The Sparkling New Year's Eve Ball


The last place to visit would be Times Square to get one of the best photo opportunities during your visit. The New Year's Eve ball is already set up and ready to go for 2015!
