We're waiting for summer break from the second classes start in August every year. Once summer comes around every year we go through the all the different stages ranging from excitement to down right boredom. Here are the six stages of summer as told by the "Parks and Recreation" cast.
1. Relief Stage

2. Excitement Stage
You think about all the fun things you can do and places to go now that you have 3 months commitment free from classes and studying! You buy concert tickets, go out with all your friends from home and spend money like crazy because it's finally summer! This is where the plans for that huge and epic road trip like in the movies are born. The time when you make a list of beaches, parks, events, and friends to see.
3. Hermit Stage
Netflix, Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram, Repeat. When was the last time you had time to fully binge that show on Netflix? Must take advantage of this time while you can because summer will still be there after the new season of "Orange is the New Black!" Order a pizza, stay in your pj's for three days in a row, neglect things like dishes and personal hygiene (to an extent) because why not? Once summer is over so it that luxury.
4. Broke the Bank Stage

5. Boredom Stage
You've officially run out of shows to watch on Netflix and things to do. There are only so many levels of Candy Crush you can play at a time and the work grind is real. Even if somehow you find the motivation to try to make plans, everyone else is probably working anyway. Might not be the most fun part of summer, but still anything is better than having to go to class everyday.
6. End of Summer Depression
Don't make me go back. How am I going to get my sleep schedule back to normal? I don't think I remember how to write anymore? Trying to hold this pencil makes my hand feel really strange. Alarm set for 6 hours and 45 minutes from now? For the next 3 months? I don't think I'll make it to winter break.
