Spring break is a wonderful time! For some, it means going away on a luxurious trip somewhere tropical. For others, it means getting to sleep in and make extra money. Regardless of which you are, coming back from spring break is never just a one step process.

1. How is break already gone?

You feel like you just left college for your week-long break. How did time fly by so fast? What did you even actually do over break?

2. Do I really need to go back to class now?

With break feeling so short, class seems like the last thing you want to go back to doing. You know the rest of the semester is going to go by so slowly, and you are just ready for summer to come!

3. How many weeks do I have left?

This typically happens around the same time as the second question. The countdown begins to when the last day of school is. To some it may seem short, but to others it seems like an eternity away.

4. Are finals really that close?

With spring break being over, this means finals are near. At this stage you are probably already a few weeks into class since coming back from break. Finals seemed so far away but all of a sudden they find a way to sneak up on you!

5. How am I going to fit all this stuff into one car on move-out day?

Now you are really at the end of the year! You have to start worrying about not only taking all of your finals, but also bringing everything home that accumulated in your room throughout the year!

6. How did I just go through a whole year of college?

It is already summer now. You look back at the school year and you wonder how a whole year has already gone by! 1/4 of "the greatest years of your life" has passed by, and you are one step closer to your future!

College is overall a great time but sometimes it feels like it drags on forever. After spring break, time seems to slow down and classes seem to be endless. Have no fear though because summer is closer than you think! Enjoy the rest of your semester!

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
