Always question what is what my friends.

It is a new semester, so that means new excitement and classes. With this excitement in February, all there is still lots of snow which means...SNOW DAYS! Just kidding, just certain classes will be canceled due to the snow.

That means more time to curl up in bed and watch conspiracy theories on Facebook and YouTube, so here are some of my favorite conspiracy theories that I have read. Many of these are just honestly really funny to read, and others might be true.

1. Demi Lovato and Poot

This theory was created after there was a very bad image of Demi Lovato on the internet which does not look like her at all. So, fans had created the theory is that the photo is not of Demi Lovato and it is actually her hidden sister named Poot. This theory became a huge meme in 2015 and blew up on Tumblr. I just think this theory is just a meme now, and it might be because I adore Demi and her work. "Tell Me You Love Me" is my bop.

2. Avril Lavigne

This theory is also on the celebrity side. It states that many fans think that Avril Lavigne is dead in the early 2000s and got replaced by clone because she died when she was at the peak of her fame and her producers didn't want to tell the fan base. I think this theory isn't real as well. Avril is most def alive and living her life people.

3. Area 51

I honestly LOVE the idea of Area 51, and I know that is kinda weird, but come on. Don't tell me that you would not be excited to explore the galaxies and beyond? I also think the conspiracy of the Men in Black is also cool, because there would be hope for me to become Agent G.

4. Tupac, Elvis and Michael Jackson are alive

These conspiracy theories just make me shake my head "no" and sigh. Tragic deaths of celebrities are sometimes hard to comprehend, just like any death, but saying that the individual never died and is just hiding is not a healthy way to mourn and live life. When death occurs, the people affected need time and sometimes that person's life allows others to become inspired and help the world in the name of the individual who died.

5. The government is tapping the telephone lines and 6. All celebrities are a part of the Illuminati

There is no need to explain these facts. All I will say is this: The truth will set you free.

I hope you've enjoyed this moment of paranoia, and don't forget to put tape on your laptop and phone cameras.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
