This list is going to give new recommendations for those calm days. This is a follow-up to my previous list titled "My 6 Favorite Atmospheric Black Metal Songs" So, this will mean some artists from the previous list will come up again. For those who don't know what Atmospheric Black Metal is, it's a sub-genre of Black Metal. As the name Atmospheric implies, it focuses and emphasizes the atmospheric feel. It's less aggressive than Black Metal adding elements such as piano and a nice harmony.
1) Lustre- Amongst The Trees
Starting off the list with Lustre. Lustre, is an Atmospheric Black Metal/Ambient band from Sweden. As the title of the songs suggests, it is about nature. Hearing the song bring's a call to the listener. The song enables the listener to envision that they're outside in a forest or woods. The song is definitely good for those who meditate.
2) Violet Cold- She Spoke Of Her Devastation
From their recent 2017 album "Anomie". The first two minutes of the song starts nice and peaceful before the instruments come to help and give the vibe.
3) Eskapism- Lost Land
Eskapism is a two man Atmospheric Black Metal band from Ukraine. The addition of the synth is a really good as it fits well with the song. The first minute with the synth gives a nice mystical feeling and it keeps it that way throughout the song. It meshes well with the song from start to finish.
4) Enisum- Arpitanian Lands
The song starts off slow with female vocals, this gives a nice atmosphere of beauty, calm and a serenade feel to it. When the instruments start picking up speed and the black metal part comes on it still works well. The outcome is a nice marvelous song and the album itself is amazing. If you enjoy this song, give the album a listen.
5) Amiensus- Arise
Amiensus are an American Atmospheric/Progressive Black Metal band. The song uses clean vocals throughout the song with a nice chorus that makes it unique from the others on this list. It gives a nice feeling with it having elements from the progressive side of the genre. Overall, a great song from them.
6) Caladan Brood- Wild Autumn Wind
Caladan Brood is a two-man American Epic/Atmospheric Black Metal band. The band name and lyrical content are based on the book titled "Malazan Book of the Fallen". This makes it a nice soothing song for the listener. The album itself is also, amazing because of the style they used,
