6 Ways Disneyland Can Make Anyone Happy
Haiden

From movies to television shows, to theme parks to clothes, Disney knows how to make their guests happy and feel welcomed.

Disneyland has been a part of my family since I was born. My dad and I used to go after school, on the weekends, basically anytime we could. This tradition continued with my brother and sister. We would go on Sunday's and spend the day there. I have been a pass holder since I could remember, and this summer I was honored to be able to join the Disney family and become a cast member!

I want every guest to have the love for Disney that I do.

1. The Rides

Everyone put your hands up! Being on a rollercoaster, the Haunted Mansion or the train? Sounds like a great day to me!

2. The Characters

Giphy

Mickey and Minnie Mouse. The princesses'. Even the villains during Halloween time. Can I get a picture AND an autograph?

3. The Park Itself

Giphy

With themed lands, the cast members and the energy you get from being in the Park...who wouldn't want to be there?

4. The People

Giphy

Being surrounded by people on a sugar high, a Disney high and a happy high? Yes, please. Everyone around you is there for the same reason, to have fun.

5. The Smells

Giphy

Popcorn, Churros, and the scent the blast throughout the park that makes me want to buy everything. Homemade food made fast. Makes you think that you and Walt are really eating together! With themed food to each area, you're immersed into the story. (Think: Disney drugs.)

6. The Food

Giphy

I mean, food always makes everyone happy, but Disney food? Doesn't even compare. Dole Pineapple Whip is the best ice cream there, it is so refreshing. (Best thing to eat at Disneyland Park, Anaheim, California is the Corn Chowder in New Orleans (sorry not sorry.)

What really could go wrong with a day at Disneyland?

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
