With each new semester comes a first day of classes. Every student has these thoughts going through their first day of classes back at school:
- This is my semester. 4.0. It’s mine.
- Why did I decide to take such an early class?
- Do I dress nicely or laid back?
- Whatever. It doesn’t matter.
- Am I even walking to the right building?
- What am I supposed to learn in this class?
- God I hope today is just a syllabus day.
- This professor looks horrible.
- Are you actually going to lecture today? On the first day? Who hurt you?
- This semester is already sucking.
- CAN YOU PLEASE HURRY UP?
- I don’t want to be here.
- I want to go home.
- When is lunch?
- Do I get lunch?
- What is for lunch today?
- Do I really have to do this for another 4 months?
- What do you mean you’re assigning homework on the first day?
- What do you mean you’re giving us a test within a week?
- I should not have put a real bra on today.
- I could go for a nap.
- Is nap time still a thing? It should still be a thing.
- Please stop talking, teacher lady.
- Thank God it’s over.
- Now where am I supposed to go?
- What do you mean I have another class to go to after this?
- Whose idea was this whole school thing?
- Could I drop out and become a stripper?
- I need snacks.
- I need a dog.
- I miss my dog.
- I need dessert.
- What am I doing with my life?
- Am I supposed to like, get a real job after college?
- Do I have to pay taxes and stuff?
- Annnnddd Blackboard just assigned me 5+ assignments.
- What is sleep?
- Do I need sleep?
- Can the human body function for a week without sleep?
- What would Jesus do?
- That 4.0 isn't happening.
- I’m not going to make it for another 4 months.
- I’m not going back. They can’t make me.
- If I run away, there’s nothing they can do about it.
- Like seriously. What are they going to do?
- Do I have enough coffee?
- I need more coffee.
- I want to go to bed.
- I want to go home.
- I want to go back to Kindergarten.
