Anyone in college knows that feeling of the end of the semester. The cramming, the crying, and the countdown to not being able to procrastinate any more. Here is 5 reasons that you know it's the end of the semester- hopefully it will give you a laugh in your time of stress, I know I could use one.

1. The Pep Talks... to yourself.

Everyone has done it, whether it's in their head or to themselves in the mirror- the "you can do it" speech to yourself. It's never really worked for me personally, but maybe that's because I can't take myself seriously.

2. The Sudden Internal Panic

This is when the stress starts to build- when you realize all of the shit you have to do in such a little amount of time, and then you hate yourself because you know you've had more than two weeks to do it... you just didn't.

3. The Constant Flow of Brain Farts

This is the worst... when you're sitting in class the week before exams and you realize about every 5 minutes that you have no idea what the professor said the 5 minutes before that and it just keeps happening and you walk out not having a clue what even happened.

4. Realizing Sleep Isn't a Thing...

I think this meme sums it up perfectly.

5. When the dreaded day comes...

Everyone anticipates it, everyone studies or doesn't study, but the day comes regardless.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
