We all spend the whole year looking forward to summertime. When it finally gets here, the first few weeks are a breeze. When the middle of summer starts approaching, we often find ourselves being bored and wishing there was more to do. Well, here's a few ideas.
1. Binge-watch a Netflix series
If it's a rainy day, or just a day needed to recuperate from a long week, Netflix is the way to go. I personally recommend "Scandal," "One Tree Hill" or "Gossip Girl." You cannot go wrong with any of these choices.
2. Float the river
Floating the river is the best way to relax while still getting to have a good time. You get to spend time with friends and enjoy the outdoors at the same time — what could be better?
3. Go camping
Camping is something that can be a very rewarding experience. Something about stripping a person of their electronics and air conditioner brings a certain natural experience. Not only is camping fun, but it can teach you may things about yourself.
4. Hammock somewhere beautiful
Another relaxing activity is hammocking. Grab a book, and go enjoy nature. You just might remember that reading doesn't always have to be boring.
5. Go on a road trip
What better way to spend a week or two than with your best friends exploring places you've never been? Gas prices have finally dropped back down so gas up, load up and take off. You won't regret it.
