Although college is all about being unique, people tend to dress the same based on their social influences. Whether it be that they are on a sports team, or are part of a sorority, everyone has involvement in something in college. College students tend to use these involvements to influence their style. Here are the 5 types of people that will be sitting around you in a college lecture...
1. The Athlete
Athletes in college are usually sponsored by sports brands, so you will see them sporting their sneakers, jackets, backpacks, and water bottles all by their sponsored companies. For girls, add the high ponytail or braid and you got the female athlete stereotype. For guys, add a hat or a messy haircut and you're in the presence of a male collegiate athlete.
2. The #1 Fan
If you don't see the athlete, you will see the athlete supporter. Wearing at least one thing from their collegiate line, the #1 fan wouldn't be a true fan if he wasn't wearing something of your colleges' colors.
3. The Greek Star
You will always see the sorority sisters walking to class together in their matching sweatshirts, or the frat brothers wearing their matching hats. In class, though subdued, their letters shine bright like diamonds.
4. The Preps
Those from the East Coast may understand this more than those on the West, but there will always be the preppy girls and boys. Whether it be a pastel sweater around the neck, or pearls adorning their necks, preppy people are always put together from head to toe (unlike the rest of us.)
5. The Just Rolled out of Bed Kids
There will always be the kid that walks in 5 minutes late with their hair in a messy ponytail or bed head all over. Throw on a wrinkled t-shirt and loved sneakers and you got the kid who got up 5 minutes before class.
