5 Tips To Up Your Social Media Game
Jakob Owens

Everyone wants to get better engagement on their social media channels, but not everyone is sure how to do that. Well, don't worry. I've got a few simple tricks up my sleeve that I'm sharing with you to make sure you get better engagement on your posts. Keep reading to find out some awesome social media strategies to spice up your feed.

1. Be active on social media

If you want people to start interacting with you, you've got to roll up your sleeve and engage with your audience. Share comments, likes, and personal message to spread some social love. DOn't expect friendly people to follow you if you aren't delivering a personal touch.

2. Plan out your content

If you want that beautiful feed that seems to flow perfectly together, you've got to plan it out. No blogger or fashion star posts random photos every day. They all have schedules and content plans for what they're going to do tomorrow, next week, and probably even next year.

3. Monitor your audience

What are they talking about? What are they currently vibing with? You have to pay attention to the needs and wants your audience has if you want to deliver relatable content. Monitor their behavior and adjust your social media strategy accordingly.

4. Get inspired by others

Take note of the accounts that speak to you. What are these people doing well that you can take, reform, and add to your plan? Don't be a copycat! But, take a look and steal some ideas that you can reshape to be your own and that will work for your specific brand.

5. Stay true to yourself

Faking it till you make it might not be the best idea. People on social media love original, real, raw content. They are starting to get tired of the cookie-cutter look and are craving authenticity. You just have to be yourself and they'll come, just maybe not on your timing.

I hope these five tips for your social media strategy will help you create beautiful, engaging content. As always, social media is ever-changing, so the most important thing you can do is stay up to date on the latest trends and research.
