5 Things You Shouldn't Give A Hoot About In 2018

2017 has been a weird year. A lot of negativity has just been raging during this past year. Oh, and don't let me forget this past semester because I genuinely feel like it's bee low-key terrible for everyone. There was just something about the last half of this year that has been genuinely the worst, but never fear! The New Year is here! Even though it might be hard to let some things go that happened in 2017, here are some things that you really shouldn't care about in 2018.

1. 2017

Like I said before, 2017 was the WOAT (worst of all time) so don't let whatever happened in it affect your happiness in 2018.

2. Other people's opinions

Say it with me: other peoples opinions don't matter!! If you want to do something, but you're worried about what other people might think don't let that stop you. It's time for you to live your best life.

3. Drama

Just like other peoples opinions, you don't need the negativity of drama in your life. If the relationships in your life are toxic -let them go!

4. Things that don't make you happy

Like drama, this is a no-brainer. If something is negatively affecting your life don't put up with it anymore.

5. Other people's problems

I'm not saying it's time to stop giving people advice or anything, but if the people you're helping aren't willing to give you something in return it's time to quit them. You don't need their negativity in your life.

It might be hard to do some of the things on this list, but trust me they'll be worth it. 2018 is your time to shine! So get out there and live your best life!

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
