With the new year approaching, it's easy to forget the big and little things in our every day lives. Here's a list of things to remember during the Holiday season!
1. School and work haven't changed- only the seasons have. Soon, kids and college students will be home for the holidays. It's easy to get a little too excited and forget that ending the year school year strong is still the best option. Don't forget to put in 100 percent of all your efforts into schoolwork and work!
2. Now isn't the only time to spread cheer! All the charitable donations made, seasons greetings, and cookie giveaways aren't just for the holiday season! Try to make sharing and caring a routine throughout the calendar year!
3. Pictures, pictures, pictures! Take many! I'm sure mom and dad wouldn't mind seeing a happy face in family photos! Plus, the grandparents will want some to frame. Capturing a moment, especially a happy one, is always priceless.
4. Continue to do little things that'll make others happy. Whether it be holding the door open, buying a hot chocolate for the next person in line or sharing your extra cookies, little acts of kindness can touch someone else's heart.
5. Dust storm, snow storm, rainstorm- No matter the storm, remain safe. This includes: no texting and driving; wear proper attire throughout the day; be aware of your surroundings. Remaining safe should apply to the full year, although storms get worse and the changes can be unexpected.
