On June 10, 2016, Christina Grimmie was fatally shot by a fan. Kevin James Loibl of St. Petersburg Florida waited on line for the singer's meet and greet and upon coming face to face, opened fire and shot her. Grimmie's brother tackled the shooter in an attempt to stop the assault, but the shooter committed suicide moments later. A candlelight memorial was held in Christina's hometown Martlon, New Jersey, on ADD, and she was laid to rest days later surrounded by her friends and family.
Grimmie was only 22 and had so much talent and such an incredible future ahead of her. We lost such a singer who would have inspired us through music for generations to come. I think that it is important that we remember her for all of the wonderful gifts she gave to us through music, love, and faith. Here is a list of 5 things that I believe we should know and remember Christina Grimmie by.

She was an advocate for the humane society and did all she could to love all creatures. We should all remember Christina by passing on and sharing in her endless love for life, god, and the universe. She was taken much too soon and I do not understand why but I hope we can remember and share in her love and faith.
