1. Get together

Coming together as a family is important during the holidays. It is a time where you can be thankful for everything that has come this past year and reflect on it, and you can look at the old memories that you have made years ago with your loved ones.

2. Say what you are thankful for

I think is it important to say what you are thankful for. It is nice to think about it or share it on a Facebook post, but saying it out loud makes it more meaningful. It is fun to see and hear what other people are grateful for as well.

3. Play games

When you play games with your family there is a bond that nobody else can make you have. There is just something special about playing games with family members. Whether it is playing an active game or just a card game, there are many memories that can be made!

4. Take pictures

A picture says a thousand words and lasts longer. By taking pictures throughout your time with your family you can look back at them and remember all the great times you had and all the memories you made together. It's fun to look back at old pictures and know exactly what was happening in that moment. From those pictures you could then make a picture book or slideshow, that way your pictures are all in one spot and you can look at them all at once.

5. Make memories that will last a lifetime

If you spend time with your family on Thanksgiving you will automatically make memories. Memories are fun to look back on and remember everything and everybody that was thee. The memories could be funny, fun, or sad. Every memory counts!

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
