With Halloween just passing and Thanksgiving just around the corner it's hard to even start thinking about Christmas. 1. Ice Skating
Who doesn't love ice skating during the holiday season? Philadelphia brings us two amazing ice skating places in Center City and Old City! The Blue Cross RiverRink in Old City offers a great few of the water front while you skate! While the The Rothman Ice Rink at Dilworth Park offers a great view of City Hall as you skate around!
2. Franklin Square Holiday Festival & Electrical Holiday Light Show
The Franklin Square Holiday Festival includes this awesome light show that goes with a Holiday Soundtrack starting November 10th. Not only do you get an awesome light show but there are so many other activities to take part in, such as visits from Santa and rides on the Holiday Train!
3. The Christmas Village
Located right in the heart of Philadelphia, The Christmas Village is one of the biggest attractions in the area. You find a variety of Christmas gifts from different vendors, while food vendors serve up some of the best gingerbread and hot chocolate to keep the shoppers nice and toasty.
4. Macy's Christmas Light Show
A Philadelphia tradition, the Christmas Light Show at Macy's Center City lights up the walls inside Macy's. There are multiple performances a day so it's hard to miss and definitely not something you want to miss!
5. Holiday Garden Railway at Morris Arboretum
Morris Arboretum's Holiday Garden Railway showcases a mini winter wonderland, complete with a quarter of a mile model-train track. 15 rail lines and model trains that cruise past replicas of historic monuments and Philadelphia landmarks illuminated with thousands of twinkling lights.
