5 Things to Do in Pensacola, Florida

P’cola is home to so many different kinds of people and vacation to so many tourists, there have to be some reasons!

1. Go to the beach, there are so many different parts of Pensacola Beach. Whether you're going to Casino Beach, down past Portofino, into Fort Pickens, or you're chilling on a boat in Sabine, you'll have the best time. Just don't forget the sunscreen!

2. Go to Seaside and get ice cream and ride bikes. You'll have so much fun and so many instagram oppurtunities!

3. Drive over to Orange Beach to the zoo! It is much less expensive than the Gulf Breeze zoo, PLUS for only $10 you can pick to play with sloths, kangaroos, lemurs, and a few other animals! Totally worth it!

4. Go downtown! Downtown is full of little bars with fun things to experience. Ride the bull at Wild Greg’s, get up and sing karaoke at Seville, or go win some prizes at our “barcade” Play!

5. Try the local cuisine around the city! Go to the little coffee shops on Palafox like Fosco’s or go have some homemade italian food at Lillo’s, regardless, you will not be disappointed!

So come on down to the first settlement of America and have some fun!

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
