ent articklCollege can be a difficult time for many because of the newly found independence, crazy schedules, and meeting so many different people. It can also be an extremely stressful time filled with hard classes and new experiences. But God wants you to know that if you go to Him, it’s all going to be okay. He wants you to know these five main points and believe in them intensely.
1. He loves you more than you could ever imagine. He died for you so that you could have eternal life with Him. He never wants you to feel unloved, that is why He puts so many loving people in your life to remind you of His love. However, nothing can compare to His almighty, all-powerful love that He gives us, asking nothing in return.
“Therefore, humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.” (1 Peter 5:6-7)
2. He has great plans for you. He loves you so much that He has already planned a wonderful life for you. It’s our job to give Him control of our lives and trust in Him so that this plan can be fulfilled.
“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.” (Jeremiah 29:11)
3. He is always there for you. Hardships in this life are inevitable, and we will experience multiple throughout our lives. But God is always there when it seems that the world has crumbled. If you feel like He isn’t, then just take a look around at all the loving people caring for you, He placed them in your life.
“Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today…The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” (Exodus 14:13-14)
4. He’s not mad. He wants you to know that even when you fall short or mess up, He loves you enough to forgive you. When He looks at you, He is not disappointed. He is pleased because He sees His Son. Jesus already died for our sins and accepted the punishment. You are unconditionally loved and unwaveringly accepted no matter what.
“God shows His love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8)
5. He wants to spend time with you. Even though He is never mad at you for the time you have spent away from Him, He is eagerly waiting for you to return to Him and spend time with Him. He loves you so much that even when you fault or hurt Him, He still can not wait for one on one time with you so that He can show you His powerful love.
“I love those who love Me, and whose who seek Me diligently will find me.” (Proverbs 8:17)
