It's finally starting to get warm again! If you keep up with the world of music, you might know that that means festival season has officially begun!

I haven't had the chance to attend a music festival yet, but it's pretty high on my bucket list. If going to a festival also happens to be on your bucket list and it's something you're looking to cross off this summer season, I've compiled a list of some of the popular festivals that are still to come this year with locations, pricing, and some of the headliners!

1. Bonnaroo

Next to Coachella (which has already passed, sorry), this is probably the music festival that I hear the most about. I know a lot of people that go to this every year, and while unfortunately, I wasn't able to afford to go this year (damn you, study abroad), I have high hopes to go next year. This year, it's held June 7-10 in Manchester, TN. The tickets start at $337.50 and go up in price from there. This year they have some really awesome acts like Eminem, Bassnectar, Future, The Killers, and more.

2. Electric Forest

Out of all the festivals on this list, this is the one I'm most keen on trying out. I mean, hello, look at that picture. It just seems so hippie and chill, which is something I could really get behind. This festival is in Rothbury, MI and takes place on two separate weekends, June 21-24 and June 28-July 1, with some awesome acts like Bassnectar, Marshmello, and Galantis. The tickets start at about $255. If you go to this one, please HMU and let me know how it was.

3. Lollapalooza

I know some people that have been to Lollapalooza and absolutely love it to the point that they go every year. It's in Chicago, IL from August 2-5 this year. It's pretty popular so the 4-day GA tickets are already sold out but if it's something you still want to check out, one-day tickets are still available starting at $120. Let me say that this festival has one of the best lineups out of any of these. Arctic Monkeys, Post Malone, Bruno Mars, Lil Uzi Vert, Luke Combs, ARIZONA, All Time Low, Lany, Cigarettes After Sex; literally someone for everyone. Just wow.

4. Rolling Loud

One of the cheaper festivals in the scheme of things, Rolling Loud caters to those that like rap, hip-hop, and things of that sort. The tickets for this one start at $299 for a 3-day GA pass, and the festival is at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, FL. This year, the dates are May 11-13 with acts like Wiz Khalifa, J. Cole, Future, Young Thug, and more.

5. Carolina Country Music Fest

Every year I try to go to this music festival but it still hasn't happened. I'll get there eventually; maybe next year for graduation. Anyways, held at Myrtle Beach in South Carolina June 7-10, this festival pays an homage to what makes the south the south. All country music, baby. This year, there's an awesome lineup consisting of people like Luke Bryan, Toby Keith, Brett Young, Old Dominion, Kane Brown, Dylan Scott (my favorite), and Colt Ford. A 3-day pass is $189. Maybe I can convince my boyfriend to buy day passes?

What ever your summer festival plans are, remember to hydrate, have a good time, and wear lots of sunscreen. Party on my music lovers.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
