5 Secret Menus You Don't Know Exist

If you're anything like me, you love secret menus -- ordering and eating what others don't know you can buy. For years, the most popular restaurants have been serving up secret items. So I did some research and found five secret menus we all need to know:

1. Chipotle

Though it may not be official, Chipotle's secret menu does exist. In fact, some items on the menu are more popular than Chipotle's regular orders. Ever heard of a Quesarito? It is a burrito wrapped in a quesadilla! My favorite secret is fresh cilantro -- either on the side, or instead of lettuce. All you have to do is ask.

2. Chick-fil-A

Believe it or not, Chick-fil-A's secret menu is real. Without a doubt, its most notorious item is the buffalo chicken sandwich. Just ask for a spicy chicken sandwich covered with buffalo sauce. Of course, it doesn't stop there. Also, on the menu is the blueberry cheesecake milkshake. Ask if they can blend a piece of the cheesecake into a vanilla milkshake. Don't be shocked if they say, no, though. For this treat is not available at most locations.

3. Jamba Juice

Jamba Juice's secret menu is incredible. Originally created by curious customers and employees, its concoctions are crazy tasty. You may have heard of Andre's Surprise -- a fruity combination of oranges, pineapples, mangoes, peaches, and raspberries. My personal favorite is Fruity Pebbles. And you guessed it, this smoothie tastes just like the cereal. Ordering a secret item at Jamba Juice is easy. Just ask!

4. Starbucks

It's not surprising that Starbucks has a secret menu. However, I was surprised to find that it contains 20 plus items. One such item is the Dirty Chai. It is simply a Chai Latte with a shot of Espresso -- perfect for an extra boost of energy. Or try a cookies and cream Frappuccino. Ask the barista for a double chocolate chip Frappuccino with white mocha sauce instead of regular mocha sauce. It's crazy how much it tastes like oreos!

5. Taco Bell

Not many people know about Taco Bell's secret menu. And they're missing out. First up is the Cheesarito -- melted cheese, scallions, and sauce wrapped up in a soft tortilla. All you have to do is ask! My favorite is the Cheesy Gordita Crunch. It is Taco Bell's infamous cheesy concoction. Though a regular menu item at some locations, the Cheesy Gordita Crunch is still secret at most. Again, all you have to do is ask!

From Chipotle to Jamba Juice, plenty of restaurants have secret menus. I challenge you to do some research of your own, and unlock more and more menus. But be careful. If you share them with too many people, they won't stay secret for too long.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
