If you haven't heard of singer/songwriter/queen Lady Gaga then you must be living under a rock because she is one of the hottest artists on the scene, and she has been for the past 10 or so years. Her live shows are phenomenal, and I was lucky enough to see her two years ago when she was touring her artRAVE shows. I saw Lady Gaga in Detroit, and it was truely the best night of my life. Currently, Gaga is touring the Joanne World Tour, and unfortunately, I was not able to score tickets to this show (it broke my heart honestly) but here are 5 reasons that you really need to see her in concert the first chance that you get.

1. She can actually sing

Lady Gaga prides herself on the fact that whenever you see her in concert, she sings live. She doesn't lipsync. "I don't think it's cool to lipsync," she said during a 2015 interview.

2. Her Superbowl Halftime Show Was Amazing

If you didn't watch her iconic performance at the Superbowl halftime show this year, you haven't lived. The lights and the pyrotechnics were amazing. She jumped off the top of the stadium for god's sake!

3. Her Shows Are So Creative

The lights and the stage setup when I saw her were phenomenal. artRAVE truly felt like one giant rave.

4. The People

The people that I met at my Lady Gaga concert have become some of the best friends I have ever had. The people are so inclusive and nice. The Little Monster fan army is truly the best one on earth.

5. It Will Be An Experience Of A Lifetime

You will not regret seeing her live if you do. The atmosphere is pure, and the music is phenomenal. Please see her if you ever get the chance.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
