Five reasons why the state of Maine will soothe your soul.

1. How everything is quiet at night

When visiting Maine over the summer I've noticed that every night it would get so quiet and still. Perfect place to be when you're trying to unwind.

2. The beautiful views

No matter where you are in Maine, the views and sights are absolutely beautiful! My favorite place in Maine happens to be Wells, however, Kennebunk and Portland are a close second! Sitting by that ocean and hearing those waves crash just gives you a sense of relief.

3. Small town vibes

Sometimes that small town vibe is really where you need to be when trying to take a relaxing vacation and Maine has a ton of them!

4. The attractions

From beaches to shopping to landmarks... Maine has it all. Everything is just so great!

5. Homey feel

Whenever I go to Maine it feels like I never left and it just reminds me of that feeling of home.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything.
