Life can be full of many disappointments. We get a D in a class that we studied for endlessly. Our relationship with our significant other just didn't seem to work out and you have to see them get with someone else. The job we had been waiting for and so hoping to get and the employer doesn't even call you back. It's times like this when it is hard to think of one thing that never goes bad. But there is one thing my friends, and that is pizza, and here is why it will never let you down:
1. It's Plain and Simple.
Flattened dough with tomato sauce, cheese and a various amount of toppings. No problems, no confusion, no frustration. Just deliciousness.
2. You Get What You Get.
You want olives and pepperonis on it? You got it. Stuffed crust? Sure. Deep Dish? You bet. No matter what type of pizza you order, you can always breath easy knowing it will be exactly what you expect. No craziness, no strings attached, and certainly no doubt.
3. It is Always Good.
No matter where it came from or what it's current state is, pizza never seems to disappoint us. We don't care about its origins, whether it was hand-tossed with love or stashed in the freezer. And even at its worst moments, when slightly burned or has been in the fridge for a whole day, we still take it in with open arms, and a hungry stomach.
4. It is Affordable
Pizza does not want a pearl necklace or a diamond ring. No silver bracelets, only silverware. All it wants is to be eaten, and cherished and that is completely fine.
5. It Will Always Be There For You.
Unless the world ends or the tomato plant goes extinct, pizza will forever be a part of human food culture. You know that no matter the time of day, you can always ring up one of those piping hot pies to entertain your tastebuds, and your heart.
