Lauren Daigle is not only a Christian contemporary artist but also she is a Christian music icon. Her music isn't just old Christian hymnals that you would sing at a church. Lauren Daigle has become a rising artist in the past few years. She was on American Idol but did not make it past the final judgment in las vegas on her season, but that did not stop her from becoming a megastar in the contemporary Christian world. she has reached number one on the billboard top Christian albums and she has been certified as platinum in the music world. she has three number-one singles on the billboards for Christian music. she talks a lot about empowering people and making sure their voices are heard. Here are five reasons you should listen to her music and the five songs I have picked that are the best that everyone should have on their playlists.

1. Her music is that her music is uplifting when you have a bad day you can play her music, and it makes you feel 100% better

This girl- is about a girl who has gone through a tough time. The song explains that she can get through anything. this song lifts me up when i am having a bad day and nothing seems to be going my way. this song helps with people that have worries about the future and what they are going to do in life by telling the audience that "this girl ain't going anywhere"

2. She is playing on secular radio stations

Look up child- is about how you can get through the darkness in the world. Look up child is my all-time favorite song, and it's her albums name. this song is also about how when your anxiety is really bad and your world is crumbling around you you have to look up. this also helps with a lot of fear surrounding new experiences.

3. She has a raw voice that's not like the typical pop sound

Rescue- this song is about wherever you are in life. She explains that God can rescue you. This song teaches that you are seen; you are not invisible with all that's going on in the world. She explains that God will send out an army, and will do anything to protect you. this song is great for people that are going through some depression and need help getting out of a rut. one of the reasons that I like this song is because it has spectacular instrumentals. the beat sounds like a secular beat, it makes you feel good.

4. Her music tells a story

You say- this is one of the most popular next to look up child it's about a person looking to find their worth, and God tells people they are worth it. this is the most empowering song a person could listen to. this song is all about how people make themselves feel inside and God tells a different story. even if you are not a Christian you can look at this song like affirmations. she says I am loved, I am strong.

5. She is beyond excellent who doesn't love Lauren Daigle

O'Lord- there is nothing better than shouting O'Lord that's why this is my last favorite. this is your classic hymnal song with a twist. she makes this song fun. this song is all about the struggle you are facing now and and you have to stand your ground. this song is also about having hope and and with gods love and he makes everything right.

Even though Lauren Daigle is a Christian artist, all of her music is about empowering people and put a fun twist on Christian music today. This music is not your basic Christian music there are pop beats and her voice is a little bluesy. You get a good mix of several different genres of music with her voice. Her music leans more towards contemporary than it does Christian. If she had not decided to audition for American Idol I don't think we would have got to listen to her music. I also saw her in concert and it was breathtaking the energy in the place is awesome. She definitely knows how to put on a show for a crowd. I also think her music would interest hipsters because her style is a hipster bluesy Christian sound. She has a rasp to her voice that is so recognizable. So if you are interested after I gave you guys all the reasons why I love her music then you should give her a listen.

I love the entire year. Well, for the most part. I'm not a big fan of Winter, but even then, every month has something that's pretty great. November? Thanksgiving. December? Winter Holidays. January? New Year's. February? Valentine's and Single Awareness Day. May? Existential dread during finals. But for me, March has always been my favorite month of the year, and for good reason.
