When joining a sorority you get to be apart of an amazing sisterhood and friendships. These will be in your life forever and you will be super grateful for that. So, here are 5 reasons why I am thankful for the sisterhood that I get to be apart of.

1. They make games day fun.

Living in the south, you know that college game days are very important. It is amazing to have sisters that you can get ready and go to the game with. I'm super thankful for my sorority sister because I know that Saturdays will always be super fun when they are around.

2. They are always there for you.

You can have the biggest fight and stop talking to each other. But, they will always be there for you when you need it.

3. They let you be yourself.

If anyone that knows me, knows I can't be serious. But, my sisters let me be me and they don't judge.

4. They help you conquer your fears.

A while back my sorority decided to go to Six Flags for a sisterhood trip. Well, my sisters knew I wasn't a big fan of roller coasters and they talked me into getting on the biggest roller coaster there. Little did they know that I would end up loving roller coasters as much as I love them.

5. The love that they share is overwhelming.

I'm super thankful for the love that they share. We are a big family and honestly that's what a sorority is all about.

I'm super thankful that I found my home in Delta Zeta and that I have made the best of friends that I get to have for a lifetime.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
