Draco Malfoy, sometimes seen as the anti-boy who lived, the guy that loathed Harry Potter, the spokesman for Slytherin at the time. Many of you that are pro-Harry and anti-Draco will fight with me about this, but I can guarantee you that Draco was more than just a boy in Slytherin, he was simply misunderstood and quite possibly the greatest character in Harry Potter. Here are a few reasons why Draco Malfoy was not only one of the most misunderstood characters, but also the best.
1. Rebel
Who wants a guy like Harry Potter when he is expected to follow the rules and live out this great life, when you can have the bad boy that will do whatever he can to get what he wants? Besides, he's a Slytherin, what's better than that? (psss. I'm also Slytherin)
2. Family Man
Okay, so at first, he seemed like all he wanted was his dad's approval because he was a daddy's boy, but in actuality, he wanted his dad's approval, because well, it's his dad. Besides that, whether or not his family is evil has nothing to do with the fact that he stands up for them. He makes sure that he protects them in every way he can.
3. He's Dependent
Crabbe and Goyle were more like the muscle of the operations. Draco, on the other hand, pure brains. Plus, Crabbe and Goyle couldn't be trusted with a lot of things because they tended to mess things up. Draco just seemed to always take matters into his own hands, even if the matters dealt with "Potter."
4. His Hair
Maybe he’s born with it, maybe it’s an amazing spell – you can’t mention Draco Malfoy without paying homage to that amazing head of bleached blonde hair of his. Who knew being bad could look so good?
5. He's Sensitive, Yet Strong
Draco may act like a big strong boy who can take care of himself, but you know, the guy’s dealing with a LOT of stuff, like Voldemort's matters. So, it’s not surprising that he breaks down and has a little cry every now and again.
