As a child, you maybe remember those 1 or 2 specific Grey's Anatomy episodes you have seen while skipping the channels. Now you have grown up and see that everyone your age is obsessed with Grey's Anatomy. What is all the hype you ask? Here are 5 reasons why Grey's Anatomy is the best television show ever!!

1. It changes you.

"Grey's Anatomy" will make you feel like you have graduated from Medical School, completed your Medical Residency, and became a Doctor all in the matter of one episode. You will feel like you can perform all surgeries. All the medical terms will start to take over your life. "Push one of epi." " hook up the LVAD wire."

2. It has the best cast ever.

From feisty Christina Yang to kind-hearted April Kepner, you will fall in love with each character on this show. When your favorite characters die, you will grieve like you have just lost a family member. When these characters go through heart break, sadness, losing patients, etc. you feel their pain too. You will even start comparing your real friends to the "Grey's Anatomy" characters.

3. It is addicting ... in a good way

Whether you have watched one episode per week, or binged watched three seasons in two days, you will always have Grey's Anatomy on your mind. The drama will always keep you tuned in. Every situation you encounter in life, there will always be a Grey's Anatomy episode you can relate it to. Although Grey's Anatomy may have you canceling plans with friends to binge watch, at least you are watching something educational. Non-watchers just don't understand.

4. The patients are relatable.

In every episode from Season 1, there will most likely be a patient who's story is super realistic. From a high school Senior football player getting a head injury to a 5-year-old child having stage 2 Neuroblastoma, the patient stories on "Grey's Anatomy" can really happen in our everyday lives.

5. All the doctors are good looking!

From the very first season of Grey's Anatomy you will be hooked, just by all the good looking doctors. From McSteamy, to McDreamy, to Jackson Avery, you will not be disappointed. It will make you wonder if Doctors in real life are this hot!
