It seems nowadays that everyone is jumping on the podcast bandwagon. The new-age talk radio has become a powerful platform for people to have the unfiltered conversations that are too long for Twitter and too controversial for Facebook. From celebrities chatting about their everyday woes, to the insanely popular storytelling in “Serial,” the vast range of categories gives everyone a chance to find their match.

1. "Psychobabble"

Hosted by YouTube sensation Tyler Oakley and his best friend Korey Kuhl, this hilarious weekly podcast dives into all things popculture. With no topic off limits, the two give listeners a glimpse into the conversations that happen behind the camera.

2. "Gilmore Guys"

For anyone obsessed with “Gilmore Girls,” this podcast is for you. In each episode, Kevin T. Porter and Demi Adejuyigbe sit down to gab about all the latest "Stars Hollow" drama. With friends, and sometimes even stars of the beloved show, the guys give a hilarious new perspective on this CW favorite.

3. "Theater People"

Patrick Hinds and Mike Jensen have worked their way into the hearts (ears?) of Broadway fans everywhere. Biweekly, the hosts sit down with all your favorite stars to discuss the ins and outs of the Great White Way.

5. "Guys We F****d"

A personal favorite of mine, this anti slut-shaming podcast brings a whole new meaning to embracing your sexuality. Hosted by the comedy duo “Sorry About Last Night,” Corinne Fisher and Krystyna Hutchinson discuss a slew of taboo topics with a new guest each week. Abortionists, rape survivors, sexual partners, porn stars, and fellow comics have all come on to help break the silence and start conversation.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
