1.) The Museum District

Personally, I am all about the butterfly exhibit, there are so many interesting sights and things to learn about. I highly recommend the natural science museum or fine arts. This will be a great all-day adventure and one that everyone will love!

2.) The Coffee Shops

Catalina Coffee. Tout Suite. My two favorites downtown, both will help your inner hipster self come out. They provide some fantastic latte art and Tout Suite had some delicious macaroons!

3.) Rice Village

I love to shop and especially when it is outdoors. Rice Village has all the stores and restaurants you could imagine but make sure you bring a full wallet ready to empty.

4.) Vinal Edge Records

I feel like everyone has suddenly become obsessed with records, including me. This place had so many to choose from whether they are decades old or as brand new as Adele 25. I definitely took my time poking around in here.

5.) Urban Harvest Farmer's Market

If you're in for the weekend, don't go too crazy but it's always a fun thing to do in the mornings before it gets too hot. It also provides perfect Instagram opportunities to show off whatever flowers you decide to purchase. They are every Saturday starting at 8am until noon so you have to stop by.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.
