5 Best Parts Of Going Home Over The Weekend

It wasn't until this year that I actually started enjoying going home on weekends but now that I've grown up more and I'm getting ready to graduate, I am beginning to love small Vermont getaways for the following five reasons.

1. It’s almost a mini vacation

The views of your home state give you pride and happiness when you're almost home. Going home feels like a well-deserved break from your normal day-to-day activities.

2. Forced puppy cuddles

Because you definitely missed your pets more than they missed you and that's okay.

3. Tiny adventures to favorite restaurants

Getting to eat your favorite dish at your favorite restuarant is something that cannot be beaten, especially after a long time apart.

4. Seeing your family and friends

One of my favorite things about going home if getting to hangout with my family and friends that I don't see often anymore. Plus bagel outings are always a must.

5. Everything feels familiar (and nicely homey)

It's crazy how easily you just slip back into your home life. Like nothing really changed even though you've been away awhile!
