Hello fellow gamers! As someone who has been playing video games since the age of three (about fifteen years) I have come across a couple of games which I found overlooked due to wrong marketing techniques. Right now the gaming scene/market is predominantly occupied by the games which spend a special amount of effort to make themselves appealing and using the right elements of advertisement. I hope you find a game that is appealing to your tastes on this list!
1. Warframe
Warframe is a space-themed third person shooter with endless amount of options to create your fighting, fashion and playing style. The game offers you over two-hundred and fifty weapon and thirty-four class options with endless amount of mods that you can put in each one of them and swap anytime! Not to mention that you can customize the color of EVERY accessory, armor, weapon and even your pet! Which means that the chances of you encountering someone that has the same exact loadout, weapons, colors and mods that you are using is nearly impossible. The cinematics and the storyline Is animated and written with great effort and trust me you will never get bored of it. Give it a shot! I’m sure that you will like it!
2. Path Of Exile
Path of Exile is a hack and slash game which focuses on diversity and customizable builds to provide you a unique experience. You have seven class options ( Marauder, Shadow, Witch, Templar, Scion, Ranger and Duelist) and three in-depth focusses for every one of them except for Scion who has only one. For example if you choose to be a Witch at the start of your gameplay, later on upon completing a challenge that the game offers, you can become a Necromancer , an Elementalist or an Occultist. What makes Path of Exile different than other hack and slash games is that you are not limited to any type of weapon and can build your character however you like! You can be an Assassin (a focus class that Shadow offers} and use any weapon depending on your choice. The game has a huge passive skill tree and does not have specific set of skills given to classes. Instead, you use skill gems to create your own set of skills. Last things last, the game is always rewarding and always offers new challenges.
3. Dragon Nest
Dragon Nest has that anime type of art style with bright animations and colorful environmental design. Compared to the previous games that I talked about, Dragon Nest is a bit more simplistic and plain. But that doesn’t mean its not fun! The raids and dungeons are cleverly designed and challenging. The PvP, clan wars, one versus one duels are thrilling. You can either climb up the ladders of PvP , fight with your clan and be the number one on the list or grind to obtain the best gear and enjoy PvE (Player versus Environment) side of the game. You have eight class options and at the later stages of the game you can choose a profession to your class and play in whichever style you want !
4. Ghost in The Shell : First Assault
If you are a veteran of shooter games, you will love how smooth and mechanically satisfying this game is. Maps are well designed, in game voice lines are done by the same voice artists who voiced the characters in the anime, missions still are classics like ``Team Death Match`` or `` Demolition`` but given a new approach. There are nine classes that you can choose and modify with mods alongside with awesome skills they offer like ``Invisibility, Hyper Sprint, Nano Gel Armor `` and many more! You can also sync these skills with your teammates to create a pushing or defensive tactic to surprise and overwhelm your enemies! The weapons have many attachments that player can use to optimize the weapon to his or her play style and the last thing is , the community is really friendly !
5. Monstrum
You wake up in a derelict cargo ship with no clues of what happened and how you ended up there. I don’t want to give spoilers so I will try to keep this as simple as possible. You have three ways to escape from the ship. A life shaft, a submarine or a helicopter. You are the only human on the ship but not the only being. You have to walk around the ship to gather materials to fix one of the vehicles and get out of there. Sounds pretty simple right? I had the same state of mind till I encountered with one of the dwellers of the ship. You are afraid of running and making a move but knowing that the AI is very smart and the creature can find you anywhere, even if you stand still or hide puts you on an unexplainable thrill. If you think you are not easily scared by anything, give this game a shot!
I hope one of these games match with your tastes and i hope you liked them! Thank you for reading fellow gamers , GLHF!
