Everyone knows that each year new artists come into the music scene. These new artists either have a one-hit-wonder or become a huge success. Below are three up and coming artists that have recently hit the music scene. The new artists include Bryson Tiller, Young M.A, and Tory Lanez.
1. Bryson Tiller
From being a young musician struggling and sleeping in his car, Tiller has found a way to climb the charts. He took home more than one BET Award from this past BET awards season. His voice sounds like a better version of Chris "Breezy" Brown. Tiller's vocals and tempo are extraordinary. He will still be around in the next 20 years singing his heart out to the world. Tiller caught the world's attention with his album "Trapsoul," which paved the way for his success. His hit singles are "Don't," and "Exchange."
2. Young M.A
New artist Katorah Marrero's, also known as Young M.A (Me Always), new 2016 hit song "OOUUUU" has been on everyone's party playlist. This female rapper comes straight out of New York and raps with a raw Brooklyn and Chicago hip hop style. She raps with a flow and always seems to grab her audience's attention. People are calling her a hero for the LGBTQ Community. She does not care about what people say about her. Before her hit song "OOUUUU," she was just a regular underground female rapper who constantly put a lot of time into making several mixtapes. Well, the hard work has paid off! So many well known artists including The Game, Nicki Minaj, Meek Mill, Montana of 300, and others have done remixes of her song.
3. Tory Lanez
Tory Lanez has been a recent artist for a little over a year. He gained attention from his hit 2016 song "Say It," a sample of Brownstone "If You Love Me." His song has been another on everyone's playlist. His hit song gives off a vibe of a late night chill session between two lovers. Lanez's vocals happen to make the song extra great to listen to. It is not by chance he is from the Toronto, Canada, formerly called "The 6," which has been the place where a lot of great artists have come from lately. Lanez's song "Say It" has played on many TV shows, such as "Being Mary Jane." He does not seem to stop with his talent - not only does he know how to sing but he can RAP as well! His vocals make him different than other artists because they always start of soft, then medium, and end heavy. He will most certainly be around in the next 20 years to come.
Bryson Tiller, Young M.A., and Tory Lanez are just a few of new artists that will stick around for many years to come. We all will continue to fall in love with them. Check out part two next week!
