With the new semester budding, there will surely be times when you're bored out of your mind and partying just doesn't seem to do the trick. Never fear, this article is here! Go to the cinema, stream online, just do whatever it takes to watch these movies and ease your mind. Trust me.

1. The Greatest Showman

I truly had a blast with this original musical starring Hugh Jackman, Zendaya and a slew of awesome actors. This is a lovely feel-good movie with catchy unique songs and boundless positive energy to feast on. I honestly got so invested in the lives of the characters… A must watch.

2. Me, Earl & The Dying Girl

I was a bit skeptical about watching this since I’d never heard of it, but now I do not regret. This is a nice story with enough humor to make you smile and engaging characters to carry along with you for a long time. It’s about a guy who befriends a girl that has leukemia. I cried at the end of it (I won’t say if they were happy or sad tears.)

3. Skiptrace

With stars like Jackie Chan and Johnny Knoxville, you know you’re in for some butt-kicking and good laughs. The story spans over several borders like Russia and China, following the adventures of a straight-laced cop who has to chase down an American con man in order to save his god-daughter. It is a really good source of entertainment.

4. The Circle

What if there were cameras everywhere that let people see and hear everything? What if with one app, we could do everything? Vote, shop online, pay taxes and bills, all done on one simple app. That is the premise of the Circle. It follows the life of Mia played by Emma Watson, who comes into the company as an intern and discovers so much. It’s an interesting movie with possible real-life applications.

5. Alien Covenant

I found this movie really disturbing and thus it is highly recommendable to people who like evil aliens eating up people from the inside. It takes place in a future dystopia where humanity is a dying race and must find new settlements in other galaxies. They land on what seems to be a paradise planet before discovering, all is definitely not well. Filled with plot twists, gory deaths and perfectly disgusting aliens, this is a nice movie.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
