There have been a lot of tragic events happening in our world lately, making it easy to lose faith in humanity. When horrible events occur one after another, it is only natural to be overwhelmed with questions regarding what happened to our world and wonder if there is any good left to outweigh the bad, and thankfully there is. Sometimes we look for the good in all of the wrong places and lose sight of who is capable of changing the world. They always say that children are the future, and these five videos will show us all that, these children being our future is just what the world needs. Each of these kids, though they have not been on this earth for very long, have a message that we all need to be reminded of every once in a while.
Love has absolutely no limits.
Eight year old with cancer falls in love with a girl he met in his art class. They do not let their age or his disease stop them from showing us all that true love has no limits.
Always believe in yourself.
This child has a future in public speaking if you ask me. When he learns to ride a bike he reminds us all that if you believe in yourself, you can do absolutely anything.
True friendship is a beautiful thing.
Vincent, a 7 year old is like most silly grade schoolers, he loves to have fun and hang out with his friends, but unlike most at his age, his best friend has cancer. These first graders do not allow the disease to stop their friendship, but Vincent decides to try to make his friend feel better about losing his hair by shaving his own head.
It is important to give back.
Gregory shares an important message with us through his acts of kindness. Although he is young and does have special needs, he does not allow any of that to stop him from giving back and inspiring others to do the same. This wonderful kid shows us that no matter what our own personal challenges are, we are all people and should care for others who need it.
We are all the same, and should be treated that way.
During a middle school basketball game, D, an amazing young lady who has special needs was being picked on, and the basketball players stopped the game and told the bully to stop. These student showed us the importance of remembering that regardless of our own personal challenges, we are all the same and should be treated like it.
