Friends are important to have and keep. They are the ones who should be there when no one else is. We all have that one friend who fits in their own category. Whether they're the one who makes you laugh until you snort, or if they're the person you come to for advice, it's best to keep them close because you need them.

While some people prefer to have a large group of friends, others have a small circle they keep close to them. In this circle, there are certain friends you need.

1. The "Mom" Friend

She is constantly telling you to do the right thing.

When it's cold out, she tells you to button your jacket.

"Where is the rest of your clothes?"

Always asking "what's wrong?"

Tells you which boys to stay away from.

Pays for your food almost all the time and doesn't let you pay them back.

Hugs you way too much.

Helps you with your homework even if they're not in your class.

2. The Gay Friend

He gives the best advice (most of the time).

Always hypes you up.

Dances with you all the time.

Calls you beautiful for no reason.

Always there for a good time.

Protects you from the weird guys.

Always there to hang out.

3. The Brutally Honest Friend

Tells you how bad your hair looks when no one else does.

Tells you if there is something in your teeth.

Tells you that you're having a bad makeup day.

Tells you if you're making a mistake with a bad guy.

She is straight up about everything.

Stops you from making mistakes.

Sometimes the best person to come to for advice.

4. The Party Friend

Always dragging you out in the middle of the night.

Gets you into trouble all the time.

Doesn't have strict parents and thinks you don't either.

What your parents call "a bad influence".

The reason you do "bad things".

Always there when you need an escape from something.

5. The Funny Friend

Makes you laugh all the time.

Cracks jokes at the weirdest moments.

Cheers you up when you're sad.

The group hangs feel awkward when they're not there.

Brings out the worst laugh in you've ever heard.

Can never get anything serious done when you're together.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
