It's the most wonderful time of the year! Christmas and all of the winter wonderland is here and you are ready to celebrate with holly and mistletoe. You're full of good cheer--along with a few other feelings.
1. You're stuffed. I mean really stuffed.
Turkey, cranberry sauce, stuffing, sweet potatoes, green bean casserole, macaroni and cheese, pie, and you did not skip out on the rolls. You literally cannot eat another bite or you'll explode – oh wait! Peppermint bark!
2. You've got Christmas fever.
Decorating the tree, hanging up the lights, baking Christmas cookies--all the wonderful holiday happenings that you have been waiting to do are all here and you finally can do them! You're busting out those Christmas carols and stuffing those stockings! It's less than a month until the big day!
3. You're as snug as a bug in a rug.
Enormous sweaters, extra blankets, fuzzy socks, and hot cocoa by the fire – you are doing all that you can to keep the sniffles away so you can better enjoy the holiday!
4. You're slightly stressed.
It's the end of the semester, so the deadlines are back again. Finals are just around the corner and are leaving you a little pressed for time.
5. You're in the giving mood.
I love giving gifts, particularly planning out the special ones for specific people. Seeing their faces light up when you give them exactly what they wanted, and a little something extra is the best feeling!
" Happy Holidays" to everyone! Stay warm and safe as we begin our holiday season! Also, remember to stop, take a breath, take in the moment, and spend some time with your loved ones this season!
