5 Must See Concerts This Fall

Every one loves concerts, right? Well even if you don't love them, you have to admit that seeing your favorite artist live is way better than listening to them on the radio. I went to my first concert back in 2017, and from that moment on I have been in love with going and watching some of the biggest names in the music industry live. This summer, I purchased tickets to see both Shawn Mendes and Khalid, and it was absolutely AMAZING. I have been a fan of both of these artists for a while now, and getting to see them live was a great experience. In the upcoming fall, there are some great artists coming to the Tulsa and Oklahoma City area that you need to look into.

Alan Jackson - Sep 14, OKC

As someone who can really get down to any music, Alan is definitely one of my top artists for old country music. I've grown up with my step dad playing older country in the car, and Alan Jackson has always come up in a ride at least once. If you like country music, go check this concert out!

Jonas Brothers - Sep 29, Tulsa

OH. EM. GEE. If you ever, and I mean ever, liked the Jonas Brothers a little bit back in the late 2000s, you really need to consider going to this concert. There music from this year is just as good as then if not way better. If I had any money (#brokecollegestudent), I would be attending this concert.

Billie Eilish - Oct 7, Tulsa

If you have tickets for this concert, I can already tell you that I am super jealous! I was on vacation when the presale happened and didn't have access to the internet, so I missed out on purchasing tickets. I got back from vacation and everyone was like, "She has already sold out!", and I was screaming. Out of all of the artists I want to see live before I die, Billie makes the top ten for sure. So again, I'm beyond jealous if you have tickets.

Post Malone - Nov 4, OKC

Honestly, if you don't like at least one Post Malone song, are you even living??? I'm kidding (not really), but seriously, he has released some of the best songs ever. I'm still trying to scrape up some money so I can go see him because heck yeah! Unlike Billie Eilish, Post Malone still has tickets available for purchase, and he is in my top three favorite artists.

The Chainsmokers / 5 Seconds of Summer / Lennon Stella - Nov 14, OKC

Of all of these artists, I have had the amazing opportunity of seeing the Chainsmokers in concert before, and they were actually my first ever concert experience. I've always been a fan of 5SOS, but I never hardcore fangirled over them when they were big around the same time as One Direction. Personally, I don't really know much about Lennon Stella besides the fact that she was in the TV show Nashville.

If you are looking for some events to go to this fall and you enjoy music, you need to check out these concerts. They range in musical genres so if you like a certain genre or are like me and can get down to any music, these are for you.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
