Everyone is already starting to get into the Christmas spirit despite the fact Halloween was just last week and Thanksgiving is weeks away.
I understand that Christmas is the biggest holiday of the year, but that does not mean we need to fast forward through November. Here are a few things that it is just a little too early for:
1. Christmas Music
I'm sorry, but I really don't want to listen to Christmas music the day after Halloween... Just no.
2. Christmas at Walmart
Am I the only one who gets anxiety walking into Walmart and seeing a bunch of Christmas stuff this early in November? It gives me this false panic that I'm behind on Christmas shopping and everything else that comes along with the holiday
3. Decorations
If you are one of those Thanksgiving haters who already have Christmas lights and a light-up reindeer in your front yard, I really don't like you. Not only did you breeze past my birthday, but also a major holiday in our country.
4. Starbucks Christmas Cups
These red, decorated cups are actually one of my favorite things; however, drinking out of one while walking around in 80-degree weather just doesn't have the same effect as when I'm home for Christmas break, catching up with friends in a big comfy sweater days before Christmas.
5. All the Department Store Catalogs
I love shopping just as much as the next girl, but this does not mean I want to stress about what presents to get my family members — especially when they will hate what I pick out as well as make their opinion of said gift known.
