There have been so many new Broadway shows that have come out recently and in addition to being good shows, they have amazing soundtracks. All of these musicals have amazing music, but I feel as those people weren't sure about at firs t; but once you listen to the music, it changes everything. There is something about finding new music, but especially when it is something that you aren 't expecting to enjoy, it makes it even better.

1. Hamilton: An American Musical

By now I am assuming you have at least heard of Hamilton since it has gone Ham4Ham. But in case you haven't, Hamilton is a musical about Alexander Hamilton, his life, and the creation of our country but with a unique twist. Hamilton takes the world of Broadway and the world of rap combining them into an amazing mix of beauty and intensity. In addition, all of the songs are so intricately put together, it makes it an amazing album to listen too. Tip: good road trip music.

2. Anastasia the Musical

If you're like me and you grew up watching this as one of your favorite movies, then you will absolutely love this show and its album. Even if you didn't, it still has amazing music anyway. Anastasia follows the life of Anya who searches for her family while traveling to Paris pretending to be Princess Anastasia, and in the end, she finds her family in more ways than one. This is great because it takes the songs from the movie and adds onto them with new songs to expand the storyline.

3. Dear Evan Hansen

I was pleasantly surprised by this album because it has such a modern yet theatre feel to it. This show follows Evan, who has a social anxiety disorder. As he starts his senior year of high school, he goes on to deal with the effects of a classmate's death. Some of this music definitely reminds me of A Great Big World, but it is also something that can be so relatable. The music is something that you could definitely listen to on repeat.

4. Spongebob Squarepants the Musical

Anyone else's inner child freaking out at this? Saturday morning cartoons brought to life on stage, and the music is amazing. It has so much of the show built into the music, while still bringing something new to it. The show follows Spongebob as he and his friends work to try and save Bikini Bottom from an erupting volcano. This album will just make you smile as you embark on a new adventure with your favorite sponge.

5. Aladdin

Again with the childhood nostalgia, this musical is amazing. It continues with the theme of bringing the old and the new together. We continue to follow our favorite street rat and princes as two different worlds collide. With new songs and the same ones we already love, it is a wonderful mix. Plus some of the new songs are so good they might just sneak into your favorites list.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
