Imagine being stuck in an alley pinned against the animal that scares you the most. What would that animals be?
Everyone has a fear of some sort of animal. Some of which can be extremely unusual, while others may be common. What brings about this fear to us? How can something so small or so large make our heart race so fast? Here our my five animals that I believe people wouldn't want to be stuck in an alley with.
1. Spider
The itsy bitsy spider. So small, yet so powerful to some individuals. What exactly brings about this fear? I know numerous people who freak out at the site of a spider. Is that you? The creepy unpredictability of a spider is why people fear them.
2. Snake
I'm part of this group that has a hatred for snakes. If you think about it, it's kind of weird to hate on snakes. It's not like everyday you're going to run into a snake. I think it's just part of our evolution that we've gained a hatred towards snakes.
3. Sharks
When it comes to being scared of sharks, I feel that most of these people are too much consumed into the media. Yes, shark attacks do happen but not at the rate it may seem. Sharks are usually harmless to humans. I get that sharks give off the impression of being scary animals with all the teeth and being such great predators in the ocean. People fear sharks because that would truly be a terrible way to die! Imagine getting eaten alive by a shark.
4. Bees
With their yellow and black intimidating stripes, bees are feared by lots of people. This phenomenon has to be because almost everybody knows someone who has been stung by a bee. They always talk about how painful it was to be stung. In all reality, it's not that painful to be stung by a bee. It's just like going to the doctor and getting a shot.
5. Crocodile/Alligator
All the forceful power an alligator can have makes it scary to most people. Plus it's actually a stealthy animal for its size. They like to sneak up on their prey and then attack with the power jaws they have. Alligators and Crocodiles have survived all these years on earth for a reason. This is truly an animal that everyone should fear a little. Being protective animals, if you're in the wrong area at the wrong time you could be in great trouble.
