Just a small list of things to look forward to from some small things like actually having the right colored light switches to actually being able to buy a house. You know, it’s the little things in life.

  1. Graduate college.
  2. Get married.
  3. Light switches that actually match my room.
  4. Being able to buy alcohol legally.
  5. Moving into an actual house.
  6. Buying an actual house.
  7. Have kids.
  8. Have matching furniture in the house.
  9. Have kids that are old enough to do the dishes.
  10. Have a real job.
  11. First pet you actually purchase.
  12. Not having student loans.
  13. Waking up and being able to have coffee on my porch.
  14. Buying my first car.
  15. Paying off the mortgage to my house.
  16. Growing old with someone.
  17. Actually making a meal I shared on Facebook.
  18. Watching my kids grow up.
  19. Having my own wine glass collection.
  20. Being able to tell my parents that they are going to be grandparents.
  21. Not being offered a drink in a Solo cup.
  22. Being able to go to bed at nine.
  23. Watching my parents with my kids.
  24. Embarrassing my children.
  25. Clap on, clap off lights.
  26. Always having central air.
  27. Not having to work small jobs.
  28. Being able to afford to travel.
  29. Being able to afford more than the dollar menu.
  30. Being able to hire a maid.
  31. Being a bridesmaid.
  32. Seeing my best friends' lives unfold.
  33. Buying ice cream with my husband’s money and not feeling bad about it.
  34. Buying wine with my husband’s money and not feeling bad about it.
  35. Buying anything with my husband’s money and only feeling a little bad about it.
  36. Retiring.
  37. Moving into a retirement home.
  38. Annoying my doctors pretending to go crazy.
  39. Making my husband crazy by pretending I don’t know who he is.
  40. Finally meeting my maker.
