Vacation is something that everyone always looks forward to — the planning, the daydreaming, the packing, the traveling. Vacation is one of the best things about summer. Whether you go on a road trip, an overnight stay, or a full out international brigade, these are the four stages that every person goes through when they're about to go on vacation.
1. Excitement.
This happens when perhaps you overhear your parents talking about a vacation they plan on going on or maybe your best friend keeps urging you to go on vacation with him/her and you finally give in and now you cannot contain your excitement and your head is bursting with ideas of what attractions you want to do there. Now it’s official: You’re in vacation mode!
2. Research.
Well, now it’s time to put that excitement to good use and research it! You pull out your phone and start googling “________ attractions” and making a list of all these things. National Landmarks? Check! Rides? Check! Restaurants? Check! Now your excitement is really starting to build because you are getting prepared to see and experience things you can’t normally at home and things that before you could only see in magazines but now lucky YOU, you get to see it in person!.
3. The Night Before.
At this point, you’re probably bouncing off the walls because everything that you have been looking forward to and anticipating will finally come to fruition tomorrow. You’re all packed and ready to go! Good luck sleeping tonight!
4. Arrival.
After a long plane ride, you finally get off and almost magically you are in a new place and are ready to take a break from your hometown and experience something new. It is also now time to compare the attractions you were excited for in your head to the real thing. Have fun!
